How it works:
x360key consists of 2 parts, a motherboard and a remote.
The motherboard connects to the SATA bus inside the Xbox 360, and sits between the drive and the Xbox 360 motherboard. x360key is a full-fledged computer system running embedded Linux. It is capable of many things such as
- Emulating the Xbox 360 DVD drive
- Reading USB hard drives and other USB media with various file systems
- Updating itself and other hardware from USB media
- Communicating with the remote and other external USB devices
- And a lot more! (embedded Web server and Wifi connectivity for exampe)
The remote is a simple yet stylish piece of hardware that features an OLED display and 3 buttons. It connects to the x360key motherboard via a high speed USB2 connection. It also has USB for connecting USB hard drives and other devices. The OLED and buttons are used to control various aspects of x360key. It is also used for browsing attached USB media devices and launching games.

question mga 360 elites:

im running 8955 and plan to update to 12625 dash soon to play mortal kombat and most importantly kinect games kay need niya 12611 and higher diba.. so ok lang kung naka dash 12625 na ka magwork ghapon ning x360key? or dapat lower version pa need sa imo dash? and also AP2.5 pwede na so pwede na AC bro and NFS hot pursuit ba to? how bout katong 3 prime shooter na naban pud sa 12625 namely halo reach, modern warfare 2 and blackops? ang MW2 and BO nahuman na nako pero sayang ghapon kay nindot jud multi player niya...sayang ang offline party ana.. unya na hook jud ko sa HALO REACH karon lolz lingaw man diay... nindot pud cya ganahan pud ko... so why do we have to sacrifice these games sa 12625 makapungot man ning nonjtag oi pero unta mao na ning solution ang 360key!!!! unta wala nay ban ban or restrict2x sa mga games beh plss... i want to enjoy xbox360!!!
