I had a couple of customers contact me about purchasing
the game from my shop in October.
I had never heard of it, until they told me about em.

What is this game/series all about?

I have never played the series.
It's a jet fighter simulator or something?
Like Top Gun, and gameplay similar to Blazing Angels
and IL-2 Stormovik?

yes sir javs this is more like of a gran turismo of the skies,all planes are lifelike except for some uber planes though

This title has been getting some really bad reviews
and getting ribbed by the editors as being too far away
from what the Ace Combat series are all about,
and is all BOOM and no BAM.

Ordered this game last week (Region 1) from USA.
Should be arriving tomorrow.
Will try it out and see if it's really that bad.

I am kinda regretting having bought this game.

Sure it was kinda cool and fun in the beginning, but then it just starts to get too easy
and too repetitive and too lame towards the middle of it.
And tries to be like "C.O.D" in jets/helicopters.

Not quite the experience I was seeing on the trailers,
and been rootin for. Just disappointed all around.
Not even gonna bother with DLC, even though some of its Free on PSN.

Story is Lame, Characters are Lame,
Graphics are Lame, Game is Lame.

Should of went with Batman instead (which comes out today according to
the dude over at Datablitz Abreeza).

This game is a Rental/Borrow at most.
It's fun while it lasts but then it just plain sucks,
you might wana wait awhile till the price drops on this one.
Or iono, maybe you'll find it more fun and enjoyble than I did.

Anyway, I give it a 6.5,
and that's being merciful.

Am disappointed in it, damn friends who told me to go and buy it
early. Damnit.

Lesson learned, wait for reviews, unless you really know its a AAA game.
