nag libog ko anang region sa ps3 sa game or sa console tapus sa tv sad.. ang akoa tv HD unsa pag kabalo kung unsa region akoa ps3? and naa ko nadungog na muagchange daw ang color ug quality pag lahi ang region.. pls help thansk

You can take a look at the side of the
Ps3 Bluray case to find out what "region" it is
and it will show one of these prefixes on the side
there;

Prefix Description
BCAS First Party, Asia (Region 3)
BCJS First Party, Japan
BLAS Third Party, Asia (Region 3)
BLJM Third Party, Japan
BLJS Third Party, Japan
BCUS First Party, US (Region 1)

Now to know if what region your Ps3 system/console is,
take a look at the back of the unit, and you'll see
a bunch of numbers which makes up the serial code.
You'll come across these specific set of digits
such as this; CECHA, CECHB, CECHC, CECH-20, CECH-21 and so forth.....

aha! thanks for the reply my unit was able to play a region 1 and 3 games ehehehe the games have BLUS and BLAS printing at the side for the tv na rinig ko nagvavary rin daw ang pal at ntsc sa game what if my TV is HD and im using HD cable will pal and ntsc wont matter?

yup, i think pal/ntsc only applies to standard tv sets. qng maka.support imung HDTV ug 720p above wala na nay problema, ok pa sa alright nah. hehe.

thanks sa reply ehehehe nakita ko na rin region ng unit ko sa box may naka drawing kc na 3 globes ang first is a globe with a capital A sa gitna then 2nd globe with number 3 sa gitna and lastly ung tird is a globe with a 3 outside.. yan ang d ko pa alam pero i have an idea..

ahaha binasa ko ang manual im such a noob.. ahaha sa region codes ang globe A is for blu-ray disc then globe with 3 inside is for dvd tapus may globe wit ALL sa loob for the ps3 ormat BD-rom globe(region) 3 and Globe(region) ALL ibig sabihin pwd lahat ng games sa unit ko kahit anong region tama bah? thanks pala sa reply
