Okay, after having given this public Beta a go,
from version 1.01 to 1.03; I can say from my experience,
that they messed up and added a bit too much to the UC2 multiplayer
excellent formula. Can you say "Overkill"?
Here's what some others and myself are experiencing;
Bullets within 1 clip (without the extra clip booster),
are not enough to take down 2 let alone 1 enemy in far quarters.
Especially when the other person is jumping, and climbing.
I mean, what gives? It's freakin hard to get the medal where
we catch a dude climbing or hanging and we try to shoot him/her down.
Why does it take so many bullets to bring a single dude down?
It wasn't like this in UC2, people are already complaining in their
dedicated forums.....
Another thing, the "dash" button isn't effective.
Yeah, you dash, but heck, it still looks like your just taking your time, fast walking. The Dash needs to be a little bit faster.
And avoiding grenades is broken. They need to fix that.
Lastly, it takes far too long to search for other players (strangers) to play with online. But that's a given. This is a Beta afterall,
the servers aren't fully capable yet of handling such traffic.
1 million people are playing the public Beta.
Now, this is just the Beta, but it should be better.
I mean the Gears of War 3 beta blew all other beta's outta the park.
Doesn't Uncharted 3 deserve the same retrospect?
Lets hope that, Naughty Dog continues to listen to the beta testers,
and manually fix and tinker the multiplayer mechanics.
Because this is Uncharted, this is THE Ps3 Console Mascot Franchise.
