Nintendo 3DS

Anybody interested in it or lookn to get it when it comes out? The first 3D Stereoscopic Gaming machine ever.
And just skimming through the list of lineup of launchday and following launchmonth of games, makes me really wana get it.

Kid Icarus and MGS3 look hella sweet in 3D....

But kind of expensive for a handheld though,
$349 I believe....yeesh.....

Hhmm would it feature pop out 3d?hehe ahhmm yeah its around $250 and i should tell you, the gpu on this little machine has 6 packs..hehe. Kinda worth the price though.

Pop out 3d? I think so, cause there is an adjustable 3d slider on
the right side of the handheld, from 3d to 2d adjusting thing.

The games that are coming out for this thing,
are top notch. MGS3, Kid Icarus, Final Fantasy, Mario Kart, LoZ,
and so forth.....I would want to get this
just for Kid Icarus. It's that much of a wanted game to me.
Been waiting for a proper sequel for years.

So I just found out about Super Street Fighter IV 3D edition and I'm frothing at the mouth. I WILL buy a 3DS for SURE. It's just a question of when (the region-hacks come out).

Anyone saving up moneh for the 3DS comin out next month?
Or would ya rather get the Sony NGD aka PSP2?

I am certainly hyped about playn Kid Icarus,
Metal Gear Solid 3 and Resident Evil on it....

I'm getting both. I need a replacement for my DS already. Although I'm not too psyched about its 3d capabilities. I just like it coz its a powerful machine for 2d games. but yeah, $250 is a bit pricey for a portable/handheld. Here's to hoping the NGP will be priced at a similiar price point. I can't think of spending $300 on a handheld.

Units of the 3DS are flying off the shelves
and are SOLD OUT in most of the major retailers
here and in the mainland....

It even outdid the Wii for the first couple days
of it's retail existence....

But even with all the hype (I almost bought one unit-Aqua Blue),
I am going to take a step back. Look at the Big Picture,
and realize that Nintendo usually ALWAYS
releases a "Lite" version of it's handhelds...
So I won't be surprised if such a version comes
out for the 3DS, with even smaller and thinner features,
a built in, fully functional Web Browser,
and larger battery life (what am I gonna do with 3-4 hours of bat
life on a long business trip on the plane???).

Plus I expect a fairly significant price drop
by the time the NGP comes out.
And the games that are out for it, at the moment,
don't look that appetizing.....
I'll wait until Legend of Zelda, Mario Kart,
and Metal Gear Solid 3 come out.

Gonna buy this the moment it hits DataBlitz. I don't really care about the slim/lite/whatever versions, and I'm not going to bother unless the upgrades will be truly significant (which was never the case with the PSP and DS, haha). Super Street Fighter IV 3D is all I will need for this.

Am sooooooo tempted to get a 3DS (Aqua Blue model to be exact)....
A couple of my cousins have it, most of my friends have it,
people I see in the streets have it, playing it. And I tell you, I have seen it in action personally, and it's AMAZING HELLA COOL! It's selling out
here in Hilo. Damn.....looks hella tempting....

But the games that are out right now,
are not all that appealing to me, (Street Fighter and Pilotwings a lil bit), and I'd rather wait until the NGP comes out
so that Nintendo can incur a HUGE price drop on it,
and better games comes out....

In the meantime, the Wii and Ps3 (not really the 360) will
entertain me in regards to gaming for now. lol.
