NBA 2k12 (MJ, Bird, Magic)

Who's getting NBA 2k12?!?

Played the demo about a week ago,
and still can't get off on playn it.
It's improved slightly in terms of moving the ball around,
and the shooting mechanics is a bit more refined (Dirk's got a new
smoother realistic jumper).
Although, the miraculous CPU ball hawking is still there (no long/cross court passes).

I want the Larry Bird cover.
But knowing Datablitz, they probably will only have MJ cover copies in stock,
and Region 3 no doubt.

Anybody hyped up for this game???

NBA 2k12 will be available as a PSN Digital Download,
or so I have read......

This coming Wednesday!

So........for a chance to get some early dibs on it,
before the physical copies come in, which might be Saturday or Friday.
Don't know, ask Scoobidot.

I am looking to gameshare the game,
and perhaps NBA Jam: On Fire Edition.
It would be $20 per slot,
which is 874 pesos, but I'll round it down to 850 per slot,
for 5 slots/5 ps3s/5 people.

Anybody "game"?

EDIT: NBA 2k12 might be $59.99 on PSN, am not sure.
So will need a $100 PSN Card to go along with NBA Jam: On Fire Edition,
which is $14.99.

Update: It seems that the NBA 2K12 digital download is only for the PSP version.

@ Gabo: Yeah, I re-read "The Drop" again on the PSN blog,
and searched around on google and twitter, for any news on
NBA 2k12 not only being a PSP Digital Download, but a Ps3 download as well.

No such luck....

Was really thinking 2k, would do it like EA Sports does,
and make it available digitally in the store as well.
Guess not right now, but if they do,
it might be later this year or next.
Because of all the different covers, I suppose.
Tough luck for us I guess..........
would of been good for us here in the Phils to get a digital copy
over waiting for a physical one to painstakingly arrive.

Can't effn get NBA 2k12 outta my mind....
It released today in the USA,
and for once in long while, I don't have a copy. Crud!!!

Been calln peeps left and right all nite,
bout how good it is, and they been sayin
its 100 times better than 2k11 was last year.
And that am missing out on possibly the greatest NBA game
to have ever come out.

They say that "My Player" mode is the bomb, yo!
That it beats out the Franchise mode,
which I usually play exclusively.

Ugh.....and come to think, Datablitz here expects copies of NBA 2k12
(Region 3) to be in at Monday at the earliest!!!
****!!!! Can't wait that long.....
And I want the Larry Bird cover.

Naa nay copies ng NBA 2k12 ug Dark Souls sa Datablitz Abreeza karun. Nagtext sila na available daw 5-6pm. Dilit reversible ang covers bro. One player per cover lang.

Unta daghan sila stock sa Abreeza.

Pa-update lang sad kung tagpila ug unsa region.

I think they got only Region 1 copies (wow, can you believe it??).
Am not sure though.

Region 1: 2,195 cash and 2,295 credit.

And all they got so far are the Jordan covers,
confirmed this with several sources.
Not much difference between all 3 different cover games.
They are basically much the same, except for the cover.
So unless your a fan of a certain player or team (like I am),
you should have no problem with His Airness covers.

EDIT: Btw, lookin to start an Online Association.
Anybody want to team up on that, be in an Online Association that is?

Kinda hesitant on this R1 copy though. Php 2,195 (US$50) is a lot to me considering that this game only lasts a year. I might just get the PC version instead. It's only US$30 on Steam. Higher reso and moddable.

Ah, it's worth it man for the Ps3 that is.
And to be honest, $50 is cheap for a just released Region 1/NTSC
highly regarded Ps3 game.
They usually go for $64 bucks from where I am at.

But yeah, they ran out of R1 copies at the moment.
I got the last one today.
They got a new shipment in for 2,150 each (2,050 probably by cash),
but they Region 2 (PAL) though....which R2 versions totally suck
arse....better get the PC version instead of that R2 copy.
