@ Engr: It's not me who is supplying these Jtagged consoles,
I am merely the middle man/entrepreneur in this intriguing situation.
It seems like a worthy business investment to me, so I might
do some legwork in this area, if there is a substantial return
on investment.
@ Yuudai and SelectStart: Yeah, it does make me seem like a hypocrite
does it? lol. But I see potential and worthiness of investment
and careful financial planning with these stocks.
I am not saying I condone what the "users" do with these units,
and it's entirely up to the consumer. But I do realize that some forms
of "piracy" is bad for business, especially since a bulk of my retail market is based on original games and hardware sales, I actually
have no say in what you or anyone want to do with their own individual console. I do not own the rights to it, so I cannot speak on behalf of SONY, but in terms of moral servtitude and business, it does cause some forms of dilemma. Plus M$ is really rich anyway and their business tactics is somewhat obstrusive, so meh. lol.
Plus am not a "fanboy" in any form of the word.
I don't understand how it rubbed off that way.....
I have all 3 current gen consoles operating in my Arcade,
and I have owned all 3 consoles, Wii being the first, Second Xbox 360, and lastly and most recently the Ps3. And my arcade has a majority of Xbox 360 units, although not modded, Xbox 360 Elites in fact.
But I guess I can be guilty of being a "fan" of Nintendo,
since I grew up playing Nintendo games, and rooted on Nintendo
when the Wii rose up to take the King Spot of the current console wars....
It's so difficult to pick one console over the other,
because each has it's own different strengths and weaknesses.
And each brings it's own unique set of exclusive and fun games,
its too difficult to not root all 3 gaming companies,
as in the end, the consumers and business men win.
Because competition improves quality, and if quality improves
so does the "FUN" factor, and thus cash/money flows like a river
of gold. lol.
All in All,
we can certainly agree that piracy does hurt the gaming industry as a whole, as sales and all forms of financial gains and profits are negated because of it. It's hard for legitimate companies to combat against
such forms of business. But ey, that's how the world goes.
And in this current economy's day and age, I can fully understand.
Everybody has to make and save money.
